Korenix JetBox 8100 Industrial Communication Computer

With integrated HMI SCADA monitoring system installed and VGA touch panel attached, the JetBox 8100 enables operators to visualize, monitor and control the operation of specific mining areas and facilities by delivering the real time information to the whole systems. Through the Ethernet network, the control center is able to monitor the IP surveillance video from the sites. The readings of toxic gas detection or other environment sensors in the mining tunnels with intelligent alarm system connected can be also real time collected to the supervision station on the ground.

The JetBox 8100 industrial communication computer provides functionality and performance necessary to run visual interface, maintenance, system monitoring and control applications. With fanless design and -15 ~ 70℃ wide operating temperature, the JetBox 8100 is suited for the application where low power consumption, ruggedness, and multiple interfaces are needed such as mining, oil, gas, transportation application.

Korenix JetBox 8100 Industrial Communication Computer
The JetBox8100 is an AMD Geode LX800 500MHz based embedded computer. It features system memory 256MB SDRAM default (512MB optional) and carries all major interfaces such as two USB 2.0 ports, one RS-232 port, one RS-232/422/485 port, VGA, Audio and PS2(KB/mouse). For storage, there is one 2.5” HDD IDE slot and one CF II card slot inside. Korenix provides 120Gb HDD and 2Gb CF accessories with ready-to-use Operating System inside, supporting Linux or Windows CE. In addition, The JetBox 8100 is equipped with one RJ-45 port and supports daemons and web server services to accommodate to the network communication environment today.

Kservices and daemons for Linux, WinCE in built-in Compact Flash card. Korenix also provides application development tool kits for users to build up their own applications easily. With compact frame size and Din-rail mounting, JetBox 8100 is designed to install in space restricted control box.

    The JetPort 5801 is an one port RS232/422/485 to Wireless Serial Device Server, supporting the IEEE 802.11b/g wireless LAN with up to 54Mbps data transmission speed. To resolve your network cabling problem in the field, it provides an easy way and high data bandwidth via wireless communication technology to connect the hard-to-wire legacy serial device with Ethernet network. The JetPort 5801 protects your serial data transmission with 128 bit WEP over the Wireless LAN to avoid the illegal access or hackers attack. The JetPort 5801 also features a powerful configuration utility- JetPort Commander. Users can manage the wired and wireless JetPort series products without installing additional software. The JetPort 5801 can be wall mounted or din-rail mounted by the din-rail kit.

    Korenix Held a Product Seminar, the Total Solution of Networking Surveillance System, in Taipei

     JetCon 2401 serial fiber converter extends the network range of Genius Serial Bus of GE Fanuc PLC up to 40 kilometers

    Korenix JetCon 2401 Industrial Serial to Fiber Media Converter
    Via a pair of JetCon2401-s serial fiber converters with single media mode, Korenix greatly extends the control range of Genius Serial Bus of GE Fanuc PLC control up to 40 kilometers @ 153.6Kb baud rate successfully. It’s an enormous enhancement compared with the range of Maximum Length of twisted-pair Cable Run 7500 feet (2283m) @ 38.4Kb baud rate. During the communication certification test, two JetCon 2401-s units endure a heavy load of signal transmission of Genius Serial Bus protocol testing by wiring 22 GE VersaMax PLC units in multi-drop connection of Genius Serial Bus which being controlled by a GE Fanuc SERIES 90-30 BEM-331 module. Connecting the serial fiber network with two JetCon2401 serial fiber converters in single media mode in between of GE Fanuc SERIES 90-30
    BEM-331 and the first VersaMax PLC unit, the serial signal propagation delays of Genius Serial Bus is measured in 440 nanoseconds with control signal running at 153.6Kb baud rate. The results of voltage attenuation and waveform distortion also meet the requirements of Genius Transceiver Electrical Specification. All the PLC control processes at GE VersaMax PLC ends have been well performed in sequence accurately.

    Vice versa at BEM-331 end, it receives the signal delivery correctly from GE VersaMax PLC ends. Under the stress test environment, most serial fiber converter products on the market have been failed to deliver the correct signal or waveform of Genius Serial Bus with GE Fanuc PLC devices connected.
