Korenix JetNet 3705-24V, the 24V PoE Switch specifically designed for transportation surveillance, has been recently adopted in a bus surveillance system to increase the safety of the passengers. Therefore, the legacy solution to power 48V PoE cameras in their vehicles requires an extra power adapter for converting voltage from DC24V to DC48V. Usage of this additional device obviously increases the cost of the system while decreasing its efficiency.

To solve this issue of power conversion for a bus company and to lower the total construction cost, Korenix exclusively developed JetNet 3705-24V, the industrial-leading 24V PoE booster. It provides 4 PoE ports to power 4 PoE cameras in the bus and simultaneously to transmit the video images to the mobile NVR systems, RFID reader or wireless AP as the network surveillance center of vehicles.

The System Integrating Company opted to use Korenix JetNet 3705-24V for its connectivity of RFID reader and IP Digital video recorder. By using a Power over Ethernet based solution, cabling costs were greatly reduced. Korenix JetBox 8210, a WinCE-based Industrial Communication Computer for Remote Monitoring!

Korenix JetBox 8210 is designed as a front-end communication computer with WinCE Operating System. Application developers easily use Windows integrated development environment to create their own programs according to various scenes of field applications.
