In addition to the designed 8 PoE ports, the switch provides dual Gigabit Ethernet ports for ensuring larger uplink bandwidth transmission in large-scale surveillance applications. To further ensure the high quality and uninterrupted video transmission, the switch integrates QoS video precedence transmission and fault relay alarm functions. Combined with rugged fan-less design, including vibration resistance and -25~70℃ wide operating temperature, JetNet 3810G PoE Booster switch overcomes the harsh environmental conditions and ensures network reliability on all types of public moving vehicles.

Outstanding Interface for Large Video Surveillance Applications
JetNet 3810G integrates 8 PoE ports in a single switch to best fit in large PoE connectivity requiring applications while providing easy installation and significantly reducing the costs of the total networking solution. The ports are IEEE 802.3af PoE compliant and can deliver 15.4W power per port and up to 100W power per unit to PoE-enabled devices such as IP cameras, PoE Wireless APs, PoE IP phones…etc. and therefore, be easily applied in vehicles or carriages.

12~24V Power Booster for Vehicle Networking
The new PoE switch features Korenix patented built-in vehicle PoE technology – the 12~24VDC to 48VDC power booster for allowing system integrators to deploy standard PoE-enabled devices in buses, ships, railcars and other 48VDC power source lacking environments.

Reliable Video Transmission by QoS
The new Gigabit PoE switch is smartly designed to support QoS for ensuring the high quality of video and VoIP stream transmission by simply adjusting the priority of data transfer. Besides, it combines the fault relay function for providing auto warning when a system failure happens. This greatly reduces failure time and provides uninterrupted and high quality data transmission in mission-critical environments.

All these features greatly reduce wiring costs of the high-bandwidth PoE networking system, providing fast and easy system installation and making the JetNet 3810G series the best cost-effective solution for large-scale vehicle networking system.

Korenix Releases JetCon 2301v2 –A Railway Compliant Ruggedized Fiber Media Converter with 4 Forwarding Modes for Reliable Packet Transmission in Severe Industrial Environments!

Korenix is happy to announce the release of the superior v2 model of JetCon 2301 EN50155 Railway compliant 1-port Fast Ethernet to Fiber media converter, designed with 4 forwarding modes and flexible fiber optic implementation capability to provide real-time and high-performance packet transmission for various severe industrial applications in enlarged networks.

The industrial EtherCAT tested Fast Ethernet to Multi-Mode / Single-Mode fiber converter in addition to switching forwarding mode with abnormal packet filtering and pure converter mode with extreme low data forwarding latency, supports converter mode with auto-change-forward function to provide enhanced transmission in different speeds and modify cut-through mode to enhance error checking and avoid possible collisions.

The JetCon 2301v2 series provides remote Link Loss Forwarding technology to forward link status changes for alerting remote or central management systems as a result, allowing users to fast react to the situation and reduce loss caused by link failure. This greatly saves time and helps administrators to easily maintain the network. For system reliability, the converter features fault relay alarm, aiming to inform users whenever a port or power event occurs.

The new JetCon 2301v2 series, compliant with EN50155, EN 50121-3-2 and EN 50121-4 Railway standards is designed with IP31 grade enclosure, 1.5 K Hi-Pot Isolation protection and -25~70oC operating temperature range to resist severities in industrial applications and provide outstanding performance under harsh environments featuring intensive vibration/shock and severe electromagnetic interference. For extremely wide temperature range applications, Korenix provides JetCon 2301v2 -40~70oC wide operating temperature model as well.

Combining all these features to the dual redundant DC10~60V power inputs and built-in auto reverse polarity protection the converters perform high system reliability and ensure non-stop data transmission in heavy machinery industry and thus, become the suitable model for railway, rolling stock applications, etc.
