High Power PoE for Driving Power-Hungry IP Cameras & Wireless APs
JetNet 5710G comes with 8 PoE injector ports, which are capable to deliver up to 15.4W per port by IEEE 802.3af and 30W by high power IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, achieving a total power budget of up to 200W per unit to fulfill local increasing PoE demands.
The additional 2 gigabit ports make the JetNet 5710G an ideal solution for gigabit video phones, WiMAX transmitters or 802.11n APs, providing more system redundancy for users while forming a ring network and delivering increased bandwidth to the central network.
Smart Power Budget Limitation with Priority Control
To ensure reliable power delivery, JetNet 5710G is designed with budget and priority control for smart PD power budget limitation, allowing users to protect high priority PD devices from shut down caused by overloading of the power supply.
MSR Seamless Surveillance Network Restoration
JetNet 5710G supports Korenix patented MSR redundant ring with 5millisecond recovery time, which ensures high quality video transmission in a reliable, scalable network. It also supports the exclusive MultiRing design, which allows forming of up to 4 Fast Ethernet and 1 Gigabit redundant ring networks within a single switch.
Outstanding Management through Auto Device Discovery
To fulfill the advanced management, control and security requirements of surveillance network, JetNet 5710G incorporates various advanced network management features. In addition to SNMPv3, the switch board also provides LLDP function and perfectly works with the Korenix patented JetView Pro industrial intelligent network management software allowing administrators to automatically discover devices and efficiently manage the industrial network performance in mission critical environments. It combines even more advanced Layer2 management protocols, such as the DHCP option 82, 256 VLAN, LACP, QoS, IGMP snooping, etc. for providing real-time and high quality video transmission and therefore, efficiently controlling and managing the surveillance network performance.
