When operating in the Rapid Super Ring (RSR) redundant Ethernet protocol, the failover time can reach to less than 5 milliseconds, and the restore time can be 0ms, almost unaffected. The Korenix patent RSR is the fastest Ethernet recovery time in the world for critical industrial applications.
